Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother's womb. I thank you, High God—you're breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made! I worship in adoration—what a creation! You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something. Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, The days of my life all prepared before I'd even lived one day.
Ps 139:12-14 Msg

It's so hard to believe that 2 weeks from today our sweet Caedmon Scott is due to make his grand entrance into this world. These 38 weeks have FLOWN by so very quickly! It is amazing how different this pregnancy experience has been compared to Connor. I guess 3 years makes quite a difference, not to mention, I was in much better shape when I was pregnant with Connor. I had the picture perfect pregnancy & delivery with Connor, don't get me wrong, this one has not been bad, but it's had it's challenges. We had to have specialty sonograms with Cade due to his kidneys looking like they were enlarged; however, everything is perfectly fine! I pulled a muscle in my upper abdomen picking up Connor & since then I have had major aches & sharp pain in my my upper abdomen (again, not a big deal, it just hurts pretty bad & it's hard not to be able to pick Connor up as often as I'd like). Cade was breech up until last week. I had to do crazy breech exercises...I had to put an ironing board up against a chair and lay upside down on it to 'encourage' Cade to flip around...HE DID! No more crazy laying upside down on an incline. I also had quite an experience with my original OBGYN...talk about no bedside manner...I wish I could blame it on the fact that she is from the North, but she is from Texas...that was one reason I chose her. At 32 weeks, I finally made the decision to change doctors & I couldn't be happier! My iron was low for quite sometime, but after iron supplements, that has been corrected; however, my platelets are still showing to be low, so my doctor is still watching them very closely hoping we won't have to do a transfusion (they aren't super low, so I'm confident I will be fine, again, just another bump in the road).
All of this said, we recognize how blessed we are. We have a healthy baby who is continuing to grow and I really don't have it bad at all...it just makes me realize how much I took my first pregnancy for granted being so healthy and having it so easy!
I am just thankful! Thankful that God chose us to be Caedmon's parents and I pray that the next two weeks continue to go so well & that soon we will be able to introduce our little guy to you! Until then, enjoy the pictures below of our little guy & his new room!

Some sweet folks from work gave me this great diaper cake! Over 190 diapers..what a blessing!
