On a Beautiful day last week
we walked over to the neighborhood splash pad
Connor was timid at first, but since daddy was there with him, he was willing to give it a try.
They ran through the water
and finally found the water gun
Connor wanted to do it all by himself
Once he had enough of the water, it was off to the park for a little more playtime.
It's still only been in the mid 80's-90's for highs, so the water at the splash pad is still pretty cool. The ground needs to warm up a bit so the water will too.

So, here's to the first day of summer...many more days at the splash pad & park, morning walks, eating watermelon, drinking lemonade and enjoying the precious time we have as a family.
