3 Months From 3 Years

I have not been the best lately at doing a monthly recap on the going ons of Mr. Connor. It is so hard to believe that our little man will be THREE years old in 3 short months!!! I am daily reminded of how blessed we are to be this little guys parents. Our life is so much fuller with him in it!

So, what has C been up to lately? A LOT!!! He sure keeps me busy! He is a very active little guy! *He still LOVES trains...on any given day it looks like we have had an explosion of trains in most rooms of our house. He KNOWS his Thomas the train characters...ALL of them & all of their #'s...they sure know how to market to even a 2 year old, introducing new characters in most shows...ugh!

*Connor loves to read books. He really enjoys Seek & Find books.

*Connor loves to sing...he surprised my dad the other day when he randomly began singing "Oh Christmas Tree" when we were walking in to a restaurant...SO silly!

*He loves puzzles & can entertain himself doing puzzles over & over again.

*He loves the park & to go play with friends, new or old.

*He has finally warmed up to going to childcare at church & enjoys it now (he gets to go play with his friends on Sunday mornings & Wednesday for 2 hours during our Women's Bible Study...he looks forward to it! He loves Mrs. Sue & Mrs. Barb---2 precious ladies!)

*He is so excited about the arrival of baby Cade & likes to listen to his heartbeat and pat my tummy.

*He has stayed right around the same weight for a long time now, he has just gotten taller...last dr. visit he was almost 40 in tall!

*He loves to be outside. We spent a good part of today playing in the sandbox and playing chase.

*He has such a love for life and a love for people!

Connor,

We are so very proud of you sweet boy! You make us so happy and we are so thankful to be your parents. You are one of a kind...you love trains, books & to spend time with your best friends (mom & dad). You are very vocal in your likes and dislikes. You love to sing at the top of your lungs and then quickly switch to whispering and singing...and you want us to follow suit. It melts our heart when you sing Jesus Loves Me! You are so cute how you start singing then crescendo and end with 'the Bible tells me soooooooo.' You enjoy being the center of attention but you quickly retract once you realize everyone is giving you their attention, then you run to mommy or daddy. You have an AMAZING memory! If I could only remember half as much as you do, I would be doing really well! You have such a tender heart and you are so very polite.

You are looking forward to your baby brother coming and I know you will be an excellent big brother! Here's to 3 more months in your two's! CHEERS (as you like to say!)
