Thanksmas

Instead of getting together for Thanksgiving or Christmas this year, the Scott/Pederson/McElmurry families got together for Thanksmas & it was FABULOUS! What a grand idea to get the WHOLE family together in one location in between the holidays...less congestion at the airport, grocery stores were open, and everyone was able to get off work and find amazing flight deals to head out to Chicago...So blessed to all be together!!!

After all being cooped up in the house due to the COLD weather, we had the bright idea of taking my Poppa Bill out to the Veterans Memorial Park so he could walk around and see the wonderful memorial they have here. Well, we really didn't take into account that it was 15 degrees outside, windy & an ICY sidewalk. Needless to say, we didn't last out in the crisp air for too long...regardless, we made sweet memories in the process.

A great week was had by all! We are SO thankful that everyone was able to make the trip! I am so very thankful for a fun loving family. It was great just to 'be with' and really enjoy spending time with one another! I look forward to the next time we are all together! Love you all!!!
