Here Goes...
Tuesday we went to what I thought would be our last weekly Dr. appointment...well...we were wrong. I am still only dilated to a 1 and am about 25% effaced. All of that said, my Dr. told me that our Due Date is the 15th...so it changed from the 11th, to the 13th, and now...the 15th....Does it really matter, no...not so much...I mean Connor is going to come when he is good and ready and he will come on the day his Heavenly Father has created just for him. That excites me....but, being human...it does make you a little crazy to have to wait longer. Needless to say, due to our lack of progression, if Connor does not come on his own by the 15th, we will have another Dr. appointment and decide on the date of induction. We will probably induce no later than the 18th.
Rick and I were just eating lunch together and he made the observation that by this time next week, our lives will have changed forever. Connor will either already be here, or we will be in the hospital being induced. Wow...what a journey this has been...and what a fun and exciting journey we have ahead of us!
So, I will keep you posted on our progression, or the next time we may be posting with pictures of our sweet son! We shall see. Thank you all so much for caring about us so much and for your sweet thoughts and prayers. We are so blessed to have such amazing family and friends who care for us so much!

What a special time!! You and Rick are in that place that Mary and Joseph were in 2000 years ago."In the fullness of time she brought forth her first born son." But Connor gets to have a wonderful, beautiful room created especially for him in love by his mommy and daddy. Added to by friends that already love him and gave incredible gifts for beauty and comfort. What a blessed little man that the Lord provided wonderful parents specially chosen for him to love him and raise him to seek our Heavenly Father. As you wait on the "fullness of time" for Connor I am glad that you are enjoying each others company and embracing the journey! You McElmurries are wonderful testamonies to the strength and grace that the Lord provides. It is such a gift and blessing to get to be a part of your lives.
In my prayers and heart,
Lita
